Why can one email have several opens?

Multiple opens do not always mean multiple reads.

1.Open the message's activity details and compare the times.
2.Check for possibly automated activity or activity loaded through an email provider.
3.Compare your results with that activity included or excluded using report filters.

Email apps can load the same image more than once. Privacy features, forwarding, and different devices can also add activity.
PitchTrack reduces some repeat requests but cannot prove each remaining open is a separate read.
