Google Workspace setup checklist

Simple steps if you use a Google Workspace email account.

Before you start

  • Confirm you are using the correct Workspace account in Chrome.
  • Keep your admin contact ready in case approval is needed.
  • Close extra Gmail tabs before you test login again.

Step-by-step workflow

  1. Install and pin PitchTrack, then open /auth/login.
  2. Click Continue with Google and choose your Workspace account.
  3. If Google blocks access, copy the message and send it to your Workspace admin.
  4. Ask admin to allow PitchTrack and Gmail send access for your organization.
  5. Retry login and open Dashboard.
  6. Send one test tracked email to confirm everything works.

How to verify success

  • You can sign in without admin-block errors.
  • Dashboard pages load normally after login.
  • Your test email sends and tracking appears in dashboard reports.

Common mistakes / troubleshooting

  • If you see "app blocked" or consent errors, this is usually an admin policy issue.
  • If wrong account opens, sign out of Google in browser and retry.
  • If admin already approved but it still fails, ask them to recheck OAuth app access policy and Gmail scope permissions.
