Send your first tracked test email

Try tracking before sending a real pitch.

1.Open Gmail Compose and address the message to a separate test inbox you control.
2.Check that the PitchTrack toolbar says Tracking on. For a click test, use a Pro account and include a normal website link.
3.Write a short subject and message, review the draft, and send it.
4.Open the message in the other inbox, allow images, and click the website link.
5.Check the message in Gmail Sent, then open Overview or Link activity in PitchTrack. Refresh the report if needed.

Do not use your sending account to test opens: PitchTrack tries to exclude your own views.
Email privacy tools may load images before you read the message or hide later opens. Counts are clues, not proof of a person reading.
A saved contact choice or unsubscribe can turn tracking off even when the compose switch is on.
